Stan, I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate you in your humility. I appreciate how you are taking a stand in the word and challenging or getting in our face, making us think. I've heard way to many pastors dance around subjects so they don't step on toes. Many of us need to hear it as it should be so we can have the choice to take a stand. Keep it up. May God bless you

Hey Stan. I think we exist to live out Ephesians 2:10 - it is our Identity. We are His workmanship, created to do works that were planned in advance. People we meet are God's workmanship too, opportunities afforded to us are a part of His plan too. Live is an adventure and living out the work He placed inside of us is our reason to exist! If you gave me an assignment then I am answerable to you to get it done and I am submitted to you as the leader. I think this is the nature of leader follower - or employee relationships

It is very true that once you have the confidence you can work through virtually any discouragement. The dilemma is finding the strength and getting the confidence.

Psalm 27:1

Once you are able to find that strength and confidence in the Lord

First, we deny that we are like that.
Second, we get mad at our friends for accusing us.
Third, we feel disgusted with ourselves and look for how we can fix it - and probably the relationships we broke because of it.
