We are to walk in humility; what does that mean?
1. We are dearly loved by God. He created us - He loves us - our life is in His hands - our life is on a heavenly time table. Wow!
2. We are finite - very limited human beings - dependent upon Him to be all we can be.
In other words: I am special beyond my imagination; and I have limitations beyond my comprehension.
The appropriate balance between those two truths keeps us from pride, on the one hand, or insecurity on the other - humility.
